Generating Game Capsule Art
I’m not very good at art, but I do like to think I have a creative brain.
Today I decided to try my hand at creating a Capsule for Rogue Wave. I’m not an artist but I can kit-bash in Unity, so I put together a little scene and recorded it. From the stills I can select the best images.
If there’s a little something I don’t like I can adjust it and regenerate. It took me a day to pose the character, create the environment, adjust the lighting, throw in the VFX and many other little things. But now I can quickly repurpose all the components for different size images, GIFs and even videos. I’m still tweaking and reviewing but I’m pretty close now. I would love your feedback. Here’s my current favorite, what do you think? How can I improve it?
